You've already heard about our trip to Baltimore and our Halloween adventures, but we did many other fun things also during the month of October. The first two and a half weeks the boys were out of school for Fall break. Our first adventure was the Children's Museum of Phoenix. This was our first trip here...and we were not disappointed!
This is a wall of disks that greets you as you enter the building.
The next few pictures are of a structure where the kids would put scarves into one area of tubes and they would be pushed through the structure with air and then come floating out another area. OK, it's hard to explain, but it was really cool and one of the kid's favorite things in the museum.
Spencer filling the tube with scarves.
With a little help, Bryce was able to put a scarf into the tube just like the other kids.
Jacob's turn
Annalise learned really quickly how to do this.
waiting for the scarves to float down
This is the huge, 3 story climbing structure
Spencer and Jacob
Under the climbing structure there is a little climbing area for toddlers.
On the third floor there was a wheelchair accessible area. It was basically just a little ramp you could wheel onto and look down over the structure.
looking down from the top
second floor
This was similar to the one on the first floor, only this one had little squishy balls that would race through the tubes and come shooting out.
Bryce thought it was hilarious!
He thought it was fun when we placed him so that the balls would fall into his lap or hit his chair.
The trikes were one of Annalise's favorite things.

Jacob, Spencer, and Bryce. This ride didn't last too long. Bryce is kind of hard to hold up.
This was a musical instrument played with flip flops.
We packed our own lunch and ate in their little food area.
We wanted to eat outside, but getting down to the lawn was not very wheelchair friendly, so we ate inside while Bryce entertained himself by watching what was going on outside.
Noodle forest. This was cool. It is just a whole bunch of noodles hanging from the ceiling.
Bryce loved it...Annalise did not!
Spencer and William
William finally found his way out of the noodle forest. You could get lost in there pretty easily.
Jacob enjoying the ice-cream shop.
This was a track where the kids could race cars. It was like the ultimate pine wood derby track!
Annalise found a friend while playing this musical instrument.
She loved this.
Jacob explaining to me how this one works.
There were lots and lots of creative activities for the kids. We didn't even get through the whole place. The older boys could have stayed here all day, but the little ones were ready for naps, so we headed home. It was a fun way to spend one of our Fall break days!
