Here are a few of my Cub Scouts.
Bryce had needed a hair cut for a long time. It is really curly when we let it grow out. These are the before pictures. I didn't get any after...oh well. He looked better anyway!
Here is the Tom turkey that John is raising for Thanksgiving this year. He has gotten huge!
This is the hen. She has begun to lay huge eggs.
No, this was not an experiment. This is some bread I made. I wasn't sure if the yeast I had was any good. As I was kneading the bread, I got a call from the school saying that Spencer was not feeling well. He had gotten heat exhaustion while playing outside. I went to get him and by the time I got home, the bread dough had grown way more than I thought it would. This is what I found. I guess the yeast was fine!
Patterson Elementary had spirit night at Chick-fil-A one night in September. The cow was there and after carrying our tray for us, hung out with us for quite some time. He seemed to really like Bryce...as you can see, the feeling was mutual.
Giving knuckles!
The older boys looking on as they finished their meals.
There is a new housing development going up around the school that the boys go to. They had an open house that my Mom, Jacob, and I went to. The houses were very nice. Here is Jacob in one of the two master closets in one of the homes. It is the one I fell in love with!
This is the laundry room
There was a guy in the last house making balloon animals. His animals were amazing!
Jacob wearing his octopus.
On September 23rd, we celebrated John's 41st birthday. He wanted cheesecake. I was going to make one, but ran out of time. So for his birthday, we ate a store bought cheesecake and then made him one from scratch a couple weeks later.
This is a cookbook that he asked for. It explains all the hows and whys of cooking.
Bryce is doing very well with his new therapist, Miss Nadine Lopo. She is working on both speech and feeding issues, and is fantastic with him.

Huge turkey. We had one like him but I couldn't kill him so we gave him to a petting zoo, should have taken him up the street to your house. haha
Tell John cool cookbook, I may need to borrow it. Ü
