Amberville Train Station

A very close second, as far as Bryce's favorites at the village, was the train set up at Amberville Train Station. Everything in the village is named after a wish child who has been here at one point or another, so the train station was named after a little girl named Amber. Even the street names are names of children. I thought that was a very neat idea.

Anyway, here is the Amberville Train Station. Yes, those are giant tinker toys that go over the train tracks and lead into the station. So cool!

Inside, there is a huge train layout. Bryce loved to just sit and watch the trains go around.

All of the other things you can see also moved when one of the buttons along the side was pushed. Some of Bryce's favorites were the Ferris Wheel, the carousel, and the popcorn popper.

It wasn't really this dark in here. I'm not sure why the pictures turned out so dark.

We need one of these in our house!

There was also a train that you could ride around the station

Outside of the station there were many little rides for the kids...no money or tokens involved. They could ride as often as they wanted to.

Annalise loved these!

Annalise with Lori, who was a wish kid many years ago. She now comes to volunteer once a week. The volunteers here were amazing!

There were also remote control boats that the older boys enjoyed.

There were a couple of other rooms that I didn't get pictures of since the boys weren't in there much, but one room had multiple televisions and every type of game system you could think of. The other room was set up like a large video game arcade with all kinds of games. Anything a kid could ever think of!
