OK, I have had some people ask about pictures from our latest trip to California, but first I want to post about Spencer's birthday party. This post is way past due! We had a little family party for him on his birthday and then a "friends" party the following Friday. The pictures here went in backwards so you get to see his party with friends first.
This year Spencer decided that he only wanted to invite a few close friends. Luckily they were all able to make it. It was a very low key party, more like a play date with cake, ice-cream, and presents. Nice for me, and comfortable for Spencer! We started with some swimming.

Spencer wanted a "water and surf" party theme. Luckily he was OK with a Mickey and Minnie surfing cake that I found.

Spencer loved the fun games and toys that he got from his friends and brothers.
July 1, 2011 Family birthday Party
For this party, Spencer wanted a marble cake with plain white frosting. Easy enough!
The neighbor girls, Camry and Kennedy came by to give Spencer an ice cream cookie treat and a little gift.
Annalise was happy to help him eat his treat.
