Jacob's Baptism

Today, Jacob became a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints! He was baptised along with two other boys, his friend Nathan Peterson, and Nathan's cousin, Hyrum Kelly. It was a wonderful service with many family members there. Thanks to the Peterson and Kelly families for filling the primary room! =) My sister Sheri and my parents were able to be here. Mom gave a talk on the Holy Ghost and gave each of the boys a blanket, compass, and a flashlight as objects to help them understand how the Holy Ghost works in our lives. She also gave Jacob his own set of scriptures. He is very excited to start using them!

William was playing around with Annalise before the Baptism. I love the picture of Annalise, and it will be a great blackmail photo of William!

Jacob all dressed in white and very excited.

Jacob and his Dad

The two newest members of the San Tan Park Ward, Jacob Clayton and Nathan Peterson!

Future missionaries...Jacob, Nathan, and Hyrum. What a handsome group of boys!

After the baptism, we had a little luncheon out on the lawn. It was a beautiful 68 degree day! It was nice to get to know the Kelly Family a little better and of course we always love hanging out with the Petersons! Here is the cake we got for the boys. When I said blue frosting, I was thinking something a little darker...but at least it isn't pink! That would not have gone over well with these boys!

I can't believe how much these boys are growing up. I miss being in primary because I don't see them as much. So happy seeing the fun memories your family has.
