Cherokee Queen Riverboat

After touring the dam with everyone, our family decided to go for a ride on the Cherokee Queen Riverboat. We had asked around if others wanted to go, but didn't have any takers. We are so glad that we decided to go. It was wonderfully cool inside and was just nice and relaxing. The kids loved it as well!

We made it just in time for the ride and since it was lunch time we decided we would just eat on the boat. We soon found out that they only took cash, so John, William, and I pulled together what we had and came up with 6 dollars and some change. We were able to buy a couple of things and all sat down and split them for lunch.

We just went up the river and back. It was about a two hour tour. It was fun to see the large homes which were mostly used as vacation homes. Must be nice!

Inside there was a wood floor that is used for dancing on the dinner cruises. Our kids and some others who joined them later loved dancing and playing in this area.

Annalise of course found plenty of things to put in her mouth! I will be so glad when she grows out of this stage!
