FHE with the cousins

The majority of Monday consisted of a trip to Walmart with my sister-in-law Dorothy for our food for the week and lots of swimming. The temp. on Monday was 104 degrees. With the humidity figured in, it was more like 110-115! The pool felt good!

Grandpa (the Dad) had a wonderful Family Home Evening planned for everyone. First, he had all of the kids line up from oldest to youngest and video taped them saying their name and age.

The end of the line. There have already been 2 new grandbabies added since this line up!

After the line up, Grandpa talked to the kids for a while and then handed out Stomp rockets. One for each family.

After labeling each of our pieces, we all headed outside and began to set them up.

Spencer's turn to stomp!

Grandma and Grandpa even got into the fun.

Bryce loved watching the rockets fly.

After everyone had played around with them for a while, Grandpa started some games like "whose rocket can go the highest", and "who can shoot all 4 rockets of the fastest". Here he is conducting the games.

And here are the judges. They had a hard job!

Spencer, William, Bryce, Annalise, and John

William loads, Spencer stomps, and Jacob cheers. What a great team!

Everyone had so much fun with this activity. The Dad had the right idea with this one!

Bryce with his sweet cousin Rachel.

After stomp rockets, we went back inside and made balloon animals until bedtime.
