Ahhh, The Best Sunday Ever!

That's what Jacob claimed yesterday just as he was going off to bed. It really was a nice day. We had church as normal at 8am. Then after that we had a little potluck here at the house since the Null's were in town. Although a little windy, it was a beautiful day and I really enjoyed talking with the girls outside while the kids all played and the guys chatted inside. Everyone brought some yummy dishes to share and seemed to have a good time. John left for choir practice about 3:30 and Chris and Amy helped me get everything back in order. Then they headed off again. It was great getting to see them. Around dinner time, everyone said they were still full from lunch and afternoon "leftovers" munching that we decided to forgo dinner and just have popcorn and watch the movie Scamper. John was gone, so the boys and I spread a blanket out in the family room and had a great time. The movie ended just in time to get ready for bed. Perfect timing. I love it when that happens. It truly was a nice, relaxing Sunday.
